An incomplete hammered gold object of uncertain function and date. The object is rectangular in plan and octagonal in section. One end is flattened to a more rectangular section. The other end is broken, leaving an irregular flat terminal. All of the surfaces are plain. The object measures 19mm in length, 8mm in maximum diameter and 6mm maximum in height. It weighs 5.80 grams.

A gold Iron Age stater of the North Eastern region / Corieltavi, dating to the period c. 45 - c. 10 BC, Kite type. Obverse: Wreath and crescents, four spoked wheel in place of cloak. Reverse: Lunate horse left, with multiple ears, four armed spiral anti-clockwise below, diamond (kite) shape above containing three pellets. Similar to ABC, p. 93, no. 1761 and BMC (Hobbs), nos. 3181-3184, but illustrated examples show four pellets within the kite; cf. Van Arsdell 825-8.

Obverse: D N ANASTA-SIVS P F AVC, Diademed and cuirassed bust in paludamentum right, diadem tie disconnected from diadem, star above head. Reverse: VICTORIA AVGVSTORVII, Victory walking right looking left holding wreath and globe cruciger. Mintmark: - *//COIIOƆ. This is probably a Pseudo-Imperial issue from unclear mint, for the official issue of Anastasius from Constantinople cf. MIBE, p.84, no. 12. Measurements: 15.2mm in diameter, 1.06mm thick and 1.39g in weight.

A cast rectangular frame with ornate vegetal moulded decoration and opposed projecting spherical knops: one for a narrow winding key [lost], and the other for a loop, similarly decoratively moulded, retaining a single chain link. The frame retains a square translucent stone of a greenish tint with the appearance of internal clouding or inclusions. A solid gold ring, weighing 7g, with a plain unadorned bezel. The hoop has a flattened plano-convex profile with pronounced ridged borders and measures 5.3mm wide at its narrow point and 10.6 around the bezel. The external diameter of the hoop is 20.1mm, the internal diameter is 17.1 and it varies in thickness from 1.3mm to 2.3mm. The unengraved oval bezel measures 10.4mm by 9.6mm and is set flush with the shoulders of the ring. At the rear of the bezel on either side at the widest point are small recesses measuring 2mm wide. A Medieval or Post Medieval gold coin fragment dating from AD 1400 - 1700. Less than eigth of the coin survives. It is probably Spanish or Spanish Netherlands. Obverse: Possible shield with a castle in the third quarter [...](DTO)[...] Reverse: Possible triple stranded cross with flaring arms [...]IIII[...] Carl Savage (PAS volunteer) suggests that the coins could be a gold souverain d'or of the Spanish Netherlands under Phillip IV (AD 1621 - 1665). The coin fragment is 12.4mm long, 7.6mm wide and 0.6mm thick. 0.39g. The diameter could have been about 30mm.

Reverse shows stylised horse facing left. The rear legs are shown standing and the front legs are shown in a forward position. Below the front of the horse is a large pellet. The mane is shown and behind this is a line projecting from the horses back to the top edge of the coin. This line has a further two lines projecting to the top right of the coin. This could possibly depict a rider.

An almost complete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (1500-1700). This mount is circular in plan and flat at the rear. The front is in the form of a raised triple rose formed of multiple pellets. It has a pellet at the centre and concentric rings of evenly spaced petals. A Post-Medieval gold iinscribed finger-ring, of 'Posy' type.. Description: The ring is formed from a thin hoop, with a convex outer face. The innermost face is engraved with a saying, motto or message in lower case does read 'God above increase our love'. Gold finger ring. A thin cast band of rectangular section bearing an externally incised inscription. This reads: + E D O + O N : T F + T R A N + A I F A, with heavily seriffed cross potent punctuation and unbarred A's, some with a vertical stroke in the place of the bar. The style of lettering broadly resembles that of the Short Cross coinage of 1180-1247, and probably points to a date in the first half of the 13th century.
