A small, rounded, garnet bead, of unknown date, Roman - Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1900. It is an irregular, smooth, rounded shape and has a circular hole through it (about 1mm diameter) nearer to one end. The bead is 3mm long and 2.7mm in diameter. It weighs 0.1g. Garnets are frequently found on the Thames foreshore (LON-0C7DE2 for example) and another worked garnet bead is LON-0335F7, but they can seldom be dated without additional context.

Early Medieval bead: The bead is made of quartz which has been polished. It is a long oval shape with the suspension hole running the length of the bead. It measures 18.29mm long, 11.06mm wide, 7.93mm thick and weighs 2.08g. A similar bead has been recorded on the PAS database LIN-0E8FB6 which was dated to the 6th to 7th century, although no evidence was given for the dating.

A near complete copper-alloy and iron rock crystal-set probable reliquary mount of medieval date (c.AD 1100-1250). Description: The object is sub-oval in plan, the oval cabochon-cut rock crystal set within a corroded bezel constructed from a copper-alloy base plate and iron rim. An incomplete early medieval gold setting containing a domed red cabochon gem, probably a garnet (c.AD580-650). The setting comprises a back-plate made of non-precious metal. This plate exends slightly from the top of the edge of the mount. This plate has been covered with a thin sheet of gold which wraps around the edges and is turned to form a shallow gold collar forming the setting for the cabochon. At the edges of the mount is a beaded border above which is a band of plain gold for the gem setting. The gem is cracked into two pieces extending from the 1 and 7 o'clock positions.

A 19th century watch fob or pendant seal with a large oval orange stone, possibly chalcedony or carnelian, set within a thin silver frame. The stone depicts, on one side, a helmeted bust, right, possibly Minerva and on the other a monogram of letters, possibly JP, likely the initials of the owner. The silver frame is constructed from a band of metal, with a pair of parallel grooves running around the outside and a pair of drilled pivot points at either end of the long axis to mount the seal within a rotating suspension frame, now missing.

A complete worn amber bead of uncertain date, probably dating from the Bronze Age to Early Medieval periods, c. 2000BC-850AD. The bead is doughnut shaped and slightly ovoid with a D-shaped cross-section. The central perforation is 5.3mm in diameter. An oval neoclassical intaglio of late 18th-19th century date which is held in an oval copper alloy frame, 24.9mm in length. The intaglio is orange and banded and made from a thin polished slice of a silicate mineral such chalcedony or agate (or perhaps a synthetic imitation such as glass / paste). The gem has a carved image of a young male bust wearing a radiate crown. The frame has traces of gilding and expands towards the front; there are no fixings aside from a strump of a lug or loop at the top of the rear part of the frame.
