A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650. The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup terminal of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon/Anglo-Scandinavian) date. The terminal has a hollow back that is semi-cylindrical in form and missing part of its attachment end due to old breaks. This contains traces of a white substance, probably used to solder the terminal to the now missing stirrup and is closed at the base. An incomplete copper alloy finger ring fragment of Roman date (c. AD 43 - 300). The bezel is oval and has tapering shoulders that end at worn breaks. The hoop is incomplete. The bezel has a recessed circular cell to the upper surface and contains two raised circular pellets at either side of the cell. Any enamel in the recessed cell has been lost.
