A complete Medieval copper alloy casket key dating to c. AD 1150-1450. The bow of the key is circular with an oval cross section and internal diameter of 5.18mm. The solid stem is sub-rectangular in cross section, extending from the base of the bow and terminating in a projecting pin beyond the bit. The bit has a rectangular ward with clefts on each side forming an inverted 'T' shape. The key has a dark green patina, and is bent slightly to the left. A possibly Post-Medieval or probably Modern, copper-alloy composite hook and eye decorated plate.  A slightly convex, sub-triangular plate with floral decoration and a blunt hook formed from a length of bent copper-alloy bar that has been soldered to the rear of the plate. The hook is decorated with oblique transverse lines. The circular eye attachment on the rear of the plate also appears soldered and protrudes at right angles to the plate. Probably a hook for domestic use, probably curtains or similar.  Height 24.5mm, width 18.4mm, thickness 1.7mm, weight 3.1g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Post Medieval oval frame from a two-piece shoe buckle, dating to c.1660-1720. An oval convex face, chamfered on the outside with a pin rest at one end. The reverse is chamfered on the inside with a thickened portion at either side, drilled to accept a separate iron spindle that is now missing along with the chape assembly. A late Medieval cast copper-alloy annular buckle with an incomplete pin dating to c.1250-1450. Flattened circular frame, with a pin simply wrapped around and able to traverse completely around it. The pin is missing the tip and is formed from flat copper-alloy strip with the reverse having 'turned up' sides to increase rigidity strength. Both buckle and pin display an even green patina. A gently tapering cylindrical body with a domed apex. At the base is a double-grooved band, with sub-circular hand-punched indentations above. The surface displays a generally dark green patina. A complete probable Early Medieval sword pyramid mount. Although the term 'pyramid' is generally applied to this form of object due to its shape normally being a square pyramid, this example is in the form of a cone. The object is plain and undecorated. It is hollow underneath and at the base there is an integral round sectioned bar running across the centre for attachment to the sword belt. The mount has a mid-green patina. The mount is 21.2 mm in diameter, 10.7 mm in height, and weighs 6.82 g. Similar examples are SWYOR-89C624, BUC-725DF3 and LIN-666425.

A fragment of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy gouge (1150 - 800 BC). The gouge consists of a semi-circular shaped blade tip. It is possible that this gouge was socketed, however there is no indication of a socket remaining. The blade is C-shaped in cross-section throughout its length and concave, with the hollow of the blade increasing towards the cutting-edge. A copper alloy partially gilded strap loop fitting of around the 14th century. It is rectangular in shape and has traces of gilding on both faces and has bevelled edges on those faces. There is a centrally positioned broken round shank measuring 4mm long with a diameter of 3.5mm. It exhibits some patina within corrosion. A heavily worn late Medieval copper-alloy French jetton of the 'standing King under canopy' type, dating to c.1300-1400. The obverse depicts a King standing beneath arches with a very worn uncertain inscription, possibly, AV[E M]ARIA. The reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleuretty with lis in the angles, all within a four arched tressure with AVE in all four spandrels. Diameter 21mm, thickness 1.8mm, weight 2.6g.
