A Post Medieval copper-alloy single-loop buckle, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1650 only missing its pin. The buckle is an elongated D-shaped/sub-rectangular in plan with slightly concave long edges a flat stap bar and convex outer edge. In cross section the frame is a pointed oval but angled so that the inner edge is higher than the lower edge. An incomplete copper-alloy decorative mount, of Medieval date. It is broadly cruciform in shape with the remains of an iron rivet or lug in the centre of the mount. Two bars extend out, with the remains of a third incomplete arm also present, and the two remaining arms have square-shaped terminals, one terminal is bend back on itself.  At the top of the cruciform is a decorative fleur de lis head.
