A copper alloy artefact, possibly a post-Medieval copper alloy coin repurposed as a trial piece to test a punch of some sort, dating from AD 1700 - 1900. Both faces are smooth and have no markings except for three punched marks, two on one face and one of the other. The marks are matching, and each is a crown over the letters AJ. each stamp is on a different orientation. It is 20.5mm in diameter and 1.3mm thick. It weighs 3g. It may have been used to test a stamp, or for practise.

Probably medieval lead disc with both sides partly covered with random engraved rocker-arm and a few engraved lines, possibly a trial piece. Diameter 33.5 - 35mm. Thickness 2mm. Weight 13.39g, 206.638 grains. Perhaps 13th - 15th century

Copper alloy Metal Working Debris or Trial Piece. Cast flat sheet or plate with irregular edges, though there were possibly characters incised and/or stamped on both sides, perhaps a trial piece. On one side are the letters M (incised) ?E (composite stamp) and ?E (composite stamp), within an impressed, probably stamped, border. On the other side, the letter P or D has been struck two or three times in a line, and this was possibly repeated above or below. Again, linear marks may be the edge of a stamping tool. The script appears likely to be Late Medieval or Early Post-Medieval. …
