Copper alloy with gilding Pricket or Candle Holder. Cast three-pointed spike branching from a hexagonal-section shaft, probably inserted in a circular plano-convex collar; a short stub of sub-circular section protrudes from the flat back of the collar. The lower shaft of the spike and the upper convex face of the collar bear traces of gilding. Suggested date: Medieval, 1300-1450. Length: 45.2mm, Diameter (collar): 22.2mm, Weight: 26.43gms.
