Copper alloy Funnel. Thin sheet, wrapped to form a tapering funnel, the aperture at the narrow end is of 2mm diameter. This appears to be an improvised tool; one possible use would be in charging the flash-pan of a firearm. Copper alloy is especially apt to such use as it will not cause sparks if knocked against other metals. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800. Length: 25.4mm, Width: 12.7mm, Thickness (of sheet): 1.3mm, Weight: 2.19gms.
