Cast copper alloy container, possibly a bird feeder, of post medieval date (1500-1700). The container has been crushed and pierced and it has been cleaned by the finder. It is an irregular shape in plan and sub rectangular (square with a flared neck) in profile. The container was probably D shaped in plan before being damaged. It has been cast in one piece. It measures 51.3mm in length, 24mm width and is 30.5mm high. The thickness of the metal varies from 3mm at the rim to 2.1mm on the sides. The container weighs 34.92 grams.

Copper alloy sheet metal container dating to the post-medieval period, circa 1550 AD - 1700 AD. The cylindrical container has a screw end, which is missing its top, the other end has a cap remaining. This item could have been used for either holding needles or matches.

Medieval copper alloy pot leg, 68mm long, 15mm in diameter with a weight of 89grams. The object is in good condition with its original surface which has a greenish/black patina. The object is very plain tube which widens slightly at its base. It is damaged here, but part of the base is at a 450 angle and has been polished to a shiny black patina.

Medieval copper alloy caldron foot, 45mm long, 32mm wide and 10mm thick. The objects weighs 43.4 grams and has a corroded surface. It is sub triangular in shape and has a ridge running down the centre of one side.

This artefact is a copper alloy scabbard chape with traces of gilding and enamelling. The artefact measures 27.5mm in lenght and 14.5mm in width (if measured at it's maximum) and it is 8.25mm thick. The surface of the find which would have been visible is decorated with a floral design. The reverse of the find and the edges all have traces of gilding and evidence of enamelling.

The pot mend consists of a rectangular sheet of copper alloy which has four horizontal slots. Through one of these slots is a square headed rivet which holds in place an irregular shaped fragment of copper alloy. The rivet shaft is split in to and flattened outwards holding the fragment securely. The fragment is discoloured by a black substance, carbon?

Copper alloy outer case for a set of nested weights. Circular, with six external vertical ribs on cup and similar projections (poorly preserved) on lid. Maximum external diameter 40mm; internal diameter 36mm; internal depth of cup 17mm; maximum height 24mm. In its present condition (with corrosion around lid) it weighs 96.07g. There is ring-and-dot decoration around the rim top, and it is likely that the missing weights were similarly decorated. Probably fourteenth century in date.
