A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy medical tool dating to the 17th century. The object consists of two identical arms, which are separately formed, connected together with a single iron rivet at the top of the handles. The handles of the forceps have a flat inner side and concave front. They taper, becoming cylindrical and have a globular terminal on the end. At the widest end above the rivet, on both of the arms, there is a slight groove followed by a second groove forming a constriction.
