An incomplete copper-alloy bow and fantail brooch of Roman date, c.AD 50 - 150. Mackreth 2011, Trumpet derivative, Hinged Type 4.1a, Plate 86, no.5587.
The head of the brooch comprises tubular wings which act as an integral double lug hinge mechanism. The axis bar which would have run through the head is now missing. The pin is also missing. The remains of an integral loop project from the centre of the top of the head. The front of the wings has symmetrical stepped decoration in the form of two vertical ridge and grooves.

An incomplete copper-alloy possible candle snuffer of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600-1800.
The object comprises a hollow conical base topped by a large, rounded boss from which a flat ovate handle extends. A small circular perforation is present to the top end of the handle. The base of the conical element is broken and worn. Evidence of burning in the form of blackened areas to one side of the object are present.
The metal has a mid-green delaminated patina and is worn. The object is 46.3mm long, 21.6mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 26.4g.

A complete copper alloy apothecary's weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1700 - 1800. The weight is square in plan and rectangular in section and is engraved on both sides with the traditional symbol for the apothecary's unit of measure 1 drachms. The symbol can be described in its basic form as 3i.
The metal has a green/brown patina and is worn. The weight is 13.58mm long, 13.25mm wide, 2.75mm thick and weighs 3.12g.

A complete copper-alloy brooch of medieval date, c.AD 1250-1400.
The brooch comprises a quatrefoil frame with a D-shaped section. The corner of each lobe displays an ovate rounded knop. One arch of the frame has a circular perforation through which a pin is fitted. The pin is formed of a thin piece of copper-alloy wire and is fitted through the frame by an open loop.
The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The object is 23.5mm long, 23.7mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 2.1g.
