A complete copper-alloy Anglo-gallic or French ecu au soleil coin weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1475 - 1650. The coin weight is hexagonal and uniface. It is decorated on one surface with a crowned shield containing three lis and a sun in place of the central lis of the crown. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a brown patina and is fairly worn. The coin weight is 13.67mm in length, 14.89mm in width, 2.69mm in thickness and weighs 2.83g.
