A complete copper-alloy seal matrix of medieval date, c.AD 1200 - 1300. The seal is circular with a central raised spine to the reverse from the edge of which an integral lug projects.
The seal bears the device of a right facing griffin passant (described from the impression). The motif is surrounded by a legend which reads S' TOMAIS LE PICISELIS indicating this is a personal seal.
The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The seal is 39mm long, 29.6mm in diameter, 3.9mm thick and weighs 14.2g.

The object comprises a sheet plate folded lengthways resulting in two parallel rectangular plates. A rivet is retained between the plates at the centre of the open attachment end. The plates are undecorated.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 23mm long, 11.9mm wide, 3.5mm thick and weighs 3.1g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1570 -1700.
The buckle is a double loop rectangle with a square section. The bar, which would have been narrowed and recessed, is lost to old worn breaks. The object is undecorated.
The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The buckle is 12.1mm long, 11.9mm wide, 1.7mm thick and weighs 0.5g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1650.
The buckle is a single looped sub-rectangular shape with expanded, splayed feet and a narrowed and recessed strap bar. The feet bear outwardly projecting lobed knops. An integral oval on ovoid knop projects from the outer curved edge of the frame. The pin no longer remains.
The metal has a mid-green/brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 22.6mm long, 13.9mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 1.7g.
Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead, p.29 and are dated to circa AD 1500 - 1650.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1575 - 1700.
The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with a narrowed and recessed strap bar and bevelled edges. Lobed protrusions are present to either end of the bar. The rounded end of the buckle frame is filled with iron corrosion.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 24.3mm long, 17.4mm wide, 4.5mm thick and weighs 2.g.
A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.91, no.564 and is dated to circa AD 1575 - 1700.

It is octofoil, comprising eight convex roundels arranged around a flattened panel with central circular perforation. A copper-alloy rivet remains fitted through the central perforation.

An incomplete copper-alloy cruciform brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 475 – 550. Possibly Martin Type 2.
All that remains of the brooch is a broken and worn head plate. The plate is sub-rectangular with worn breaks to each corner and all edges. A central ring and dot design can be determined to the front of the plate.
An integral curved bow extends from the centre of the base of the headplate. It is D-shaped in section and terminates in a worn break.
The remains of a semi-circular lug for the pin remains to the reverse of the head and is coated in iron corrosion. …
