Cast copper alloy bell, spherical body with two crossing slots across the base. While this bell resembles a crotal the method of suspension is markedly different and consists of two lugs (both truncated) between which would have fitted a strap or an iron spring, the type of fitting used on indoor bell systems although the appear to have generally used open bells. Diameter 25.0 x 23.7mm, Height 35.0mm Mass 18.09g.

A Roman cast copper alloy headstud brooch. The bow is decorated with an incised geometric design running along its length. Below the decorated bow is a transverse, grooved collar. The stud is decorated with a circle divided into quarters by a simple cross design. There are two short wings either side of the stud, both decorated with two parallel vertical grooves. A head loop sits above the stud and wings. Part of the pin is missing.

Cast copper alloy buckle, double loop, spectacle, form, at each end of the bar is a small projection. There appears to have been a pin notch on each of the two outside edges. Outer edges slightly angles with a flattened oval section, bar has a triangular section. Wrap around wire pin. Length 22.6mm, Width 17.9mm, Mass 3.03g. Buckles of this from can range in date from the thirteenth to the seventeenth century.
