An incomplete copper alloy annular frame of uncertain purpose and date, probably Post Medieval to Modern in date. It is an incomplete ring, convex and faceted on its upper surface, concave and faceted on its underside where there are three equidistantly spaced, rectangular cross section lugs. There may have been a fourth, but there is an early ragged break in the ring at the point where this would have been. Two of the lugs are bent over at the tip, the third may have lost its outer tip. A Roman copper alloy zoomorphic brooch dating to AD 100-200. The brooch is in the form of a bird probably a dove with a fan tail. This is a Mackreth Type 4.a.2 (The Animal Kingdom). A complete but bent Medieval copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to c. AD 1200 - 1450. The find has a sub circular bezel in which there is an irregular, sub oval, slightly purple coloured setting- possibly a gem, which stands proud of the bezel. There is a faint legend around the outside, which is rather illegible but appears to read, (+) (N/Z)_A_ENO(R/N) or +D(N/Z)_A_ENO(R/N)C. A worn and incomplete Post-Medieval (17th century) cast one-piece circular copper-alloy button, 23.4mm in diameter. The button is decorated with an engraved eight arm spiral, with annulets at the ends of alternate arms and a small dot-in-annulet at the centre. There is a linear border around the rim. The reverse is flat with a stump of a integrally cast drilled sub rectangular shank. Cf. Read (2005) page 34, number 117.
