An incomplete copper-alloy globular headed pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 1000. The pinhead is globular with irregularly spaced ring and dot designs around its circumference and one on the flattened top. From the base of the head a circular sectioned shaft extends, tapering to a worn break. The worn remains of a raised collar are present at the junction between the head and the shaft. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1400. Meols Type 10. The buckle is a single looped oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edge. Two prominent knops flank two smaller knops with raised collars where they join. The central recesses would have acted as a rest for the pin. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a mid-green patina and is in fair condition. The buckle is 21.5mm long, 24.7mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 2.9g. An incomplete Medieval buckle plate, dating to c.AD 1200 - 1400. The buckle plate is rectangular in plan and section, at one end are two incomplete rectangular attachments, the opposing end has two circular rivet holes, one of these retains a cylindrical rivet. A copper-alloy repair patch (or folded 'paperclip' rivet) from a post medieval vessel probably dating from AD 1450 - 1550.  It has a sub rectangular outline in plan, folded from a lozenge shaped sheet. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch, dating to c.AD 80 BC - 250. The brooch appears to have originally been trefoil shaped in plan, one of the lobes is missing. Each lobe is decorated with a convex circular boss. At the top of the brooch is a drop shaped protrusion which to the rear houses the lug to support the now missing pin. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy buckle, dating to c.AD 300 - 410. Half of the buckle frame remains. Hawkes and Dunning Type IIA. The remaining fragment is C shaped in plan and semi-circular in section, it is formed of a dolphin with a gaping jaw.
