An incomplete Roman Colchester derivative brooch of Polden Hill (Mackreth Group 4, flat wing ends type), dating to AD 80-120.  The brooch is T-shaped in plan. The wings are semi circular with missing end caps. The foot and catch plate are missing along with the spring and pin.  The wings are semi circular in profile. A copper alloy Medieval to Post-Medieval die, dating to AD 1200 - 1750. The die is of the standard format with the opposing faces adding up to seven (six and one, four and three, two and five). The object has a green coloured patina across all surfaces. The die has suffered some damage at the edges and most notably on one corner damaging the face depciting the six. A near complete late Iron Age/Early Roman copper-alloy crescent type "Aesica" brooch of first century AD date, possibly dating to circa AD 25-100. The brooch comprises an upper curved bow and a lower flat bow. An incomplete copper alloy cosmetic mortar, dating to Late Iron Age to the Early Roman dating (1st to 2nd Centuries AD). The mortar is formed from a curved piece of copper alloy. The mortar has a U shaped cross section. It has an incomplete suspension loop situated on the upper edge on the opposing side to the groove. An incomplete Roman copper alloy plate brooch dating to circa AD 150-350. The brooch consists of a flat oval plate with an oval reserve at the centre and broad outer border. The oval recess is empty and has a slightly raised broad surround. The front of the brooch may have once held enamel as seen on other examples. An incomplete copper alloy stud mount measuring 26.55 mm by 28.60 mm so nearly square. The outer surface has five circular concave holes in the form of a cross, as well as four oval shaped depressions at each corner. The inner surface contains a single stem-like projection which appears incomplete. The object has a greenish patina. It is 8.40 mm thick (including the projection) and weighs 17.2 gm.

Modern, cast copper alloy pipe tamper in the form of a human leg. A shoe is suggested on the foot, this is marked by a defined heel and terminates at ankle level. A further transition is marked around the calf which could mark the top of a stocking. The knee is bent at 90 degrees and the leg terminates at mid thigh, the terminaltion being marked with with a pattern of crossing, incised lines. Roman, copper alloy brooch of 'Polden Hill' type, first century AD. Traces of silvering on surfaces, bow truncated but bore two longitudianal grooves. The underside of the wings is hollow to accomodate a coiled spring secured by an axial pin held in perforated plates at the ends of the wings. Each of the wings bears two transverse mouldings flanked by narrow grooves and a deeper, wide groove. The mouldings bear incised, transverse lines. An incomplete copper alloy Medieval rotary key of probably medieval date (c. AD 1300 - 1500). The key has a circular openwork bow with a cross. The stem is hollow and joins the bow with a moulded collar. The bit is rectangular in shape now broken. The outer edge of the bit appears has been rolled over to form a tube, part of which has been broken. The length is 75mm and the width 38mm. This key was probably for a casket or chest. A key with a similar bow illustrated in Ward-Perkins (1940 Plate XXIX no. 13) is suggested to be 14th or 15th century.

Only the head survives, which is anthropomorphic in nature, depicting a human face looking outwards with moulded hair and facial features. The length is 13mm, the width is 11mm and the weight 2.30g. No parallel could be found for this object, though it seems to perhaps belong to Cool group 18 (pins with anthropomorphic heads) (1991).
