A copper alloy probable buckle fragment of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1550 - 1650. The object is only a fragment and consists of the centre part of the outer edge frame. It is pointed oval in cross section. It is decorated with a sub-triangular moulding, containing a raised lozenge shape and two annulets. The frame is rectangular in cross section and has curved corners. The buckle would originally had a chape with a projecting double spiked tongue but this is missing.
