A Post Medieval Belgian, Antwerp issued copper-alloy square 3.3g coinweight for a half-ryal coin dating to c.1579-1603.
Square and flat. One face depicts a stylised ship with a rose in the bottom centre and the letter R to top right. (Withers 2011 : 25) The reverse depicts the hand of Antwerp with the letters L / M either side (unknown makers initials) all within a wreath. The weight is quite corroded, displaying a mainly brown colour with patches of green patina.
Sub-square 14.8mm x 14.1mm, thickness 2.3mm, weight 3.3g.

A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy strap loop / belt slide probably dating to c.1650-1850.
Rectangular in plan and flattened, elongated U-shaped in profile. The sides are slightly splayed with the remains of iron attachments in the centre. The face is decorated with a pellet formed centreline and four symmetrical curved line panels either side. The surface displays a patchy green patina. Probably horse harness related.

An incomplete heel cup, possibly a child's, with breaks on both sides. An integral curved neck terminates in a bifurcated flared rowel box, with the rowel now missing. The surface displays a patchy green patina.

An incomplete post medieval cast copper-alloy trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with drilled frome for a separate spindle, dating c. 1660-1720. . Raised molded knops around spindle holes. There is no decoration and the centre bar and pin are missing. The buckle frame has a dark green patina.

A Post Medieval copper-alloy French square 3.2g coin-weight issued during the reign of Henry II of France, dating to c.1547-59.
Sub-square and flat, chamfered on both sides forming an angled profile. The obverse is struck off-centre, bearing a cruciform of four 'crowned letter H's' with lis in the angles and a small cross in the centre. The reverse depicts the Roman numerals XX / II in two lines. Used to check the Henri d'or of four H's type. Probably struck at Lyons and should have weighed 3.5g.
Sub-square 13mm x 11.6mm, thickness 3.1mm, weight 3.2g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy double-loop asymmetrical buckle. One of the loops is D-shaped and the other rectangular, separated by a narrowed strap bar. There is a groove on the outer edge of each loop. The rounded end has four engraved oblique lines on the outer edge. The buckle has bevelled inner and outer edges and a flat back. A heavily corroded Post-Medieval copper-alloy square 3.1g coin-weight, struck at Antwerp c.AD 1550-1650.
Square and flat, with the obverse depicting a crowned rose with the letters E / C to either side (Withers p.42). The reverse depicts the hand of Antwerp, with all other detail illegible. Used to check the weight of the English crown gold coin.

A cast copper alloy two piece buckle. The frame has moulded oblique grooves with evidence of tinning. It is sub annular with a drilled frame for the separate spindle. The pin is missing. The reverse face of the buckle is flat and undecorated.
Reference: A similar two piece buckle is recorded as PAS WMID-954DC1 and YORYM-2B76F6. For a similar buckle see Whitehead, Buckles 1250-1800, 2023, pg. 97 No.602.

An incomplete Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy dress fastener of Read's Class E Type 3, dating to c.1500-1650.
Sub-oval open-work plate with piercings around the outer edge. An old break at the base probably once formed a hooked arm, with a rectangular attachment loop at the opposite end. The face has moulded decoration of two chevrons with possibly a thistle head or similar above. The reverse is plain and flat and the surface displays an even green patina.

Sub-triangular semi-openwork central plate with an 'open' loop to each side and a 'closed' loop below, terminating in a incomplete hook arm at the base. Above is a rectangular attachment loop with ornate ropework decoration emanating from the base of it, and coiling around the loops of the central plate. A Post Medieval crudely cast copper-alloy double looped asymmetrical buckle frame dating to c.1575-1700.
D-shaped cross-section, comprising of a rectangular loop (with a probably unintentional serrated outside edge) and a rounded loop with a slightly projecting knop on the outside edge. Separated by a narrowed central strap bar that is now missing the pin. The face is decorated with moulded pellets around the entire frame with the reverse being plain and flat. The surface is rough, probably unfinished, displaying a green patina.
