Incomplete modern copper alloy probable mount for furniture or belt mount, c. 1850-1950 AD.
The artefact comprises a rectangular copper alloy plate with a regular rectangular border and interior openwork foliate filigree of vine leaves with tendrils. The obverse border has defined grooved edges, and the vine leaves have incised lines and grooves providing realistic detail. The reverse is undecorated and features one remaining rivet. Incomplete Modern cast lead bullet, c.AD 1900-1950.
This is a solid, cylindrical, round-nosed bullet with two circumferential rings around its base. Patinated. Probably for use with a revolver of 0.35 inch calibre, though a 9mm diameter might also point to a round for the Sten gun, which was designed to use captured German 9mm calibre ammunition, and which might have found its way into the hands of the Home Guard later in the Second World War.

Incomplete Post Medieval-Modern cast lead bullet, c.AD 1870-1900.
This is a solid cast rifle bullet with two rifling grooves, a pointed tip, and a flat solid base. The diameter of this bullet matches the ammunition used for a rifle of 0.50 inch bore, presumably a weapon of military specification. This was most likely used for individual firing practice from the beach.

A complete cast copper alloy button of probable post-medieval to modern date, c. AD 1800-1930. The button is circular in plan and flat. Both the obverse and reverse surfaces have a mottled green and brown patina, and remnants of gilding. A tinned copper alloy livery button of mid 19th century date. The button is 25.5mm in diameter and shows a crest of a bull passant the tail turned over the back, left and with garter around containing the motto CONSTANS FIDEI (Constant in loyalty). This attributes the button to the Ridley family. The reverse has a maker's mark FIRMIN & SONS / 153 STRAND LONDON dating the button to c. 1852-1875.

A complete copper alloy vessel handle dating to the Modern period AD1800 to 1900. The object is D shaped in cross section and rectangular in plan. It is made up of a curved, bent bar, at each terminal end there is a cast round section within which is a hole of diameter 4.8mm, which is likely to have served as the fixing point for the handle. The reverse of the object is flat and undecorated. The upper surface is docorated with two lines which run parallel to the longest edges within which is a beaded decoration.

Copper alloy and glass ‘cats eye’ reflector. A pressed metal copper alloy cylinder constructed as a tube flanged at one end with a flanged end cap with two incised or stamped concentric lines on its top at the other, retaining a clear colourless translucent glass sphere resembling a marble which enjoys some free movement in its setting. This would have been set into a larger block with other identical reflectors for use on a road or runway surface. Suggested date: Modern, 1940-1970

An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring of probable post-medieval to modern date.
The ring comprises a narrow (c. 2 mm in height) undecorated band which is D-shape section and expands to a flat, sub-oval-shape bezel which is undecorated and 8.9 mm wide. On either side of this bezel, where the narrow band widens to meet it are mirrored curvilinear mouldings. On the reverse side of the ring, the band has broken in a clean horizontal break, and either arm of the band has bent back inwards. The metal has a dark green-brown colour patina.

Two fragments of a Modern incomplete copper alloy badge awarded in World War Two, AD. 1939-1945.
Together, both fragments comprise approx. 60% of an oval-shaped badge made of embossed sheet brass. The obverse features a central helmet with embossed swastika atop crossed swords on a stipped background within a wreath with bow at the bottom. The reverse reveals the inverse of the embossed obverse design and the badge has lost its pin, spring mechanism and catch plate.

It is in the form of the school badge, a shield with the coat of arms of four of the Feoffees of the school (in order: Odingsells, Waring, Dabridgecourt, Greswold) within a wreath with a scroll beneath inscribed 'Solihull School O.T.C.'. Part of the wreath and scroll on the right-hand side is folded backwards upon the rest of the badge.

The badge has been stamped and depicts a crossed rifle, shovel, and pick with a laurel wreath piled on them, ensigned with a crown at the top. The regimental motto 'Labor Omnia Vincit' (Work Conquers All) is beneath on a scroll. The object is bent in such a fashion that the right-hand side of the scroll is bent over the rest of the scroll and part of the left-hand side of the scroll is bent backwards on itself.

A corroded copper alloy brooch badge of the 5th (Perthshire Highland) Volunteer Battalion Black Watch dating to 1887-1908. The badge is openwork and shows a ring of thistles around a circlet inscribed "Dia Agus Ar Duthaich" ("God and our country"), with a rampant lion at the centre. At the top of the badge is a Queen's crown. The reverse has a the remains of a spring fitting for a large brooch style pin suggesting the badge was worn on a plaid.
