Copper alloy mount, as kindly identified by the finder. A small pressed metal plate with a leaf-shape flanked by pellets nested in spirals and with a row of pellets above; all details appearing reversed on the back. Green colorant, perhaps enamel or paint, appears on the protruding rounded parts of the motif. Presumably this was set in to a flat surface. Suggested date: Modern, 1900-1920

A complete copper-alloy pressed furniture fitting or mount of modern date (c.AD 1800-1900). The object is square in plan with a convex obverse and concave reverse. The face has a central rivet hole which is surrounded by four triangle shaped petals, surrounded by four larger triangular petals. The object has a green patina.

An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of modern date, likely 18th-19th century. The mount is fishtail in plan and the surface is decorated with concentric recessed cells likely to accommodate rhinestones. The reverse is flat with a possible makers mark in the centre and a folded tab at the flared end with a narrow neck, probably for attachment to something. The metal has a rough light green patina and traces of gold gilding preserve on both surfaces.
Length 28.5mm x width 15.7mm x thickness 2.2mm (5.0mm at the tab), weight 2.69g.

Incomplete copper alloy Modern saddlers badge or mount, c. 1850-1900 AD.
The badge is concave with a decorated obverse and plainer reverse and a broadly oval plan. The obverse features a central oval cartouche with a scalloped border with a ribbon-like projection at the base. The centre of the cartouche is stamped with 'SNOWBALL/MAKER/BELSAY' . The scalloped border has been severely damaged a the top and on the right-hand side. The obverse has a smooth, glossy brownish patina. The reverse has a flaky grey/white patina with the remains of three iron rivets.

The artefact comprises a rectangular copper alloy plate with a regular rectangular border and interior openwork foliate filigree of vine leaves with tendrils. This is part of a decorative mount, possibly of a zipper or fob chain, featuring a Spaniel holding a bird in its mouth. The reverse shows this design has been stamped into the metal, rather than cast as part of the piece. It likely fitted into a larger frame, which attached to a larger chain/zipper.

In plan, the object is lozenge-shaped with curved edges. It consists of a thin plate which is adorned with a domed central sub-oval boss enclosed by a raised oval border. A complete gilded copper alloy mount with a rock crystal
The basic mount is rectangular in shape. It has a border formed in to the metal which gives the appearance of beading or 'pie crust'. The face of the mount is raised into what would be a pyramid but is truncated. The whole is gilded. Into this raised face is set a rock crystal, which is is an irregular ovoid in shape, wider at one end than the other. An incomplete cast copper alloy decorative furniture element or finial from the handle of a household item. The fitting has a long shank with circular cross section 4.5mm in diameter, at one end of which is a cylindrical collar and a square terminal, 15.6mm wide, with a hexagonal cross section and eight facets. The apex has a square projection with facetted sides. The surface of the head of the object has traces of a white metal coating.

A large convex cast copper alloy decorative strap mount from horse harness in the form of a scallop shell, realistically rendered with incised lines radiating out across the shell. The reverse is concave with three hooked attachment rivets in a row across the width. Two of these retain a preserved fragment of leather. The central rivet looks to be soldered to the plate; the outer two may be integrally cast. Circa 19th century.

The object is in the form of a cross crosslet and appears to have been pressed from a thin sheet of metal and the edges of the mount turned over from the upper surface to the lower. An incomplete copper alloy triangular shield shaped mount probably modern.
The design is formed from acanthus leaves and a figure of eight pattern of pellets.At the centre of each of the two oval spaces created by the 'arms' of the eight is a pellet. At the bottom of the 'shield' the design termintaes in a circle of six pelletes around a central pellet.
