An incomplete copper alloy modern zoomorphic vessel or furniture foot of Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 1950). The object takes the form of a three-toed, clawed birds foot. A flat plate projects at a right-angle from the angle, terminating in a split break where the edges of a circular attachment hole is visible. This hole has an internal diameter of 2.8 mm. Two supportive knops project from the centre and rear edge of the base.  It measures 30.1 mm in length, 16.4 mm wide and 16.8 mm thick. It weighs 5.5 g. The fitting is a dark brown colour, with an even surface patina.  …
