An incomplete copper alloy rotary key of probable Medieval dating (AD 1150 to AD 1400).
Around 50% of the key is present, consisting of most of the shank and bit. The bow or handle is missing.
The shank consists of an hollow cylindrical rod. One collar either side of a swelling is present, where the shank would attached to the handle. The shank is undecorated.
