A replica of Cnut of Northumbria (c. 900 - 905). This coin was found in an area of known Viking Age re-enactments and was examined by the FLO and Dr John Naylor, and was found to be a modern reproduction on the following grounds, Although the coin has inscriptions and obverse/reverse designs which are faithful to the originals, there are  problems when you examine the coin closely: the combination of obverse  (EC-1ii) and reverse (CR-G) type seen on this coin isn't seen in the Cuerdale hoard (which is a large sample) the letter forms are quite scruffy…

A Prisoner of War plaque dating to the modern period, c AD1938-1945. The object is rectangular in plan with stamped lettering reading - R.M.C. W.D. This clay pipe depicts the face of William Gladstone (British statesman and Liberal Party politician, and previous Prime Minister of the United Kingdom). The Bowl and stem are intact, however there was a break where the bowl meets the stem and the finder has repaired the pipe by gluing the bowl and stem back together. This is an arm probably from a bisque or porcelain doll. It is a complete straight arm, mould-made, and almost bilaterally symmetrical along its length apart from one side of the hand which has two tiny bumps representing the lower palm muscles. The arm has a small groove close to the non-hand end, making it from a partial bisque doll, as the groove was used for attaching to the textile body with only the arms, legs and head being bisque. Irish Themed Clay pipe with three leaf clover and harp with Maid of Erin, stem broken, probably dates from ca. 19th - early 20th century. The bowl and part of the stem from a clay tobacco pipe that is decorated with a hatched shamrock leaf on the left hand side of the bowl and an Irish harp on the right. These symbols were often paired on pipes and reflect the rise of patriotic motifs during the nineteenth century. A modern cast copper alloy three piece Regimental jacket button of the Berkshire Volunteer Rifles, with the first Volunteer review taking place in Hyde Park in the presence of Queen Victoria in June 1860 . Cast tombac buckle fragment of late post-medieval to early modern (early Georgian) date (1690-1720). The complete frame of the buckle would most likely be rectangular (rectangular with straight corners) in plan with two centrally positioned drilled holes to accommodate a central copper alloy axis bar which would have held the pin and chape (all now missing).
