Copper alloy buckle. Cast sub-rectangular frame of rounded to lentoid section with a rounded slightly expanded and thinned outer edge and a strap bar set back from the frame. A cast and collared pin is looped round the strap bar; its mid-part is crazed and corroded. The frame bears extensive traces of a thick black coating resembling a stove enamel while the pin bears white metal plating. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval lamp hanger. It has three arms branching outwards from a central point, each vertically flattened and tapering slightly towards an abrupt break. In the centre of the upper face a suspension arm projects upwards at a right-angle, terminating in an incomplete circular loop, its outer end missing. A further small loop projects from the centre of the lower face. The surface is corroded and the breaks are well worn. A complete cloisonné mount from an uncertain object, though probably a disc brooch, of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 950 - 1150. The mount comprises a flat copper-alloy backplate with raised edges and deep inset enamel. The mount is decorated with a cloisonné design formed by strips of copper-alloy creating a field of dark blue, a central circular cell of lighter blue and four evenly spaced pointed ovate, leaf-like cells of alternating mid-blue and white enamel.
