Roof tile dating to the medieval period. An unusual example of a slipped decorated ridge tile. The tile is abraded, although the original slip would have probably been light cream or white with a clear glaze. The visable decoration appear to be scroll motif. The underside of the tile has a coarse finish fro the moulding sand, with some finger prints visible.
