One side shows a forward facing bust in relief, with a pointed beard, long hair / sidelocks and a ruff depicted by radiating concentric lines with a break at the front. The other side appears to show a similar bust, possibly with a more rounded chin line suggesting a different individual. This object may represent the tip of a decorated pewter spoon handle - or possibly a medallet or token. The style of the images suggests a broadly later Elizabethan or 17th century date.
