An incomplete Post-Medieval (AD 1730-1760) rectangular debased silver shoe buckle, with a drilled frame to hold a separate pin or spindle (now lost). The frame fragment is L-shaped in plan, comprising one rounded corner with about 3/4 of the adjacent long side and a short section of the adjacent short side, and is slightly curved to accommodated the curvature of the foot.
