The object has a smooth, flat reverse with a greyish patina and irregular nicks and scratches consistent with below-ground wear. The metal has a shiny grey patina with patches of green corrosion showing through. The object is 32.5mm long, 7.8mm wide, 6.8mm thick and weighs 10.1g. A crudely cast base-silver or pewter pendant of uncertain date. The pendant possesses a flat, circular body, which is decorated on both its upper and lower surface with moulded decoration. The decoration comprises a circumferential rib, enclosing a cross. In each of the segments created by the arms of the cross is a circular pellet surrounded by a circumferential rib. The body extends to a flat, approximately trapezoidal plate and then to the attachment loop.
