A copper alloy medieval jetton. The design resembles the late Tournai 'France Modern' type (c. 1415 - c. 1497); three lis but missing the shield. A garbled legend is enclosed in a border, The reverse has a central rosette with a triple stranded cross fleuretty in four-arched tressure. There is a mark resembling a letter E between each of the arches.
The jetton is 27 mm in diameter, 1 mm thick and weighs 3.42 g
