Large and heavy Roman gold finger ring of ‘keeled’ type with a wide openwork hoop and large ovoid bezel set with a dark blue/light grey oval nicolo intaglio. Late Bronze Age gold pendant: one end of a slightly bent round-sectioned shank has been hammered into a D-sectioned loop, while the other expands into a conical terminal on which another object may have swivelled. Formerly described as probably Roman, it has been reassigned, by Caroline Barton and Ben Roberts of the British Museum, to the Late Bronze Age on the basis of its similarity to a copper alloy example in the Boughton Malherbe (Kent) hoard (PAS KENT-15A293). Length 34mm. Width of loop 5.5mm. Diameter of shank 2 - 1.5mm. Diameter of terminal 3mm. Weight 1.89g. 9th century BC.

An incomplete gold and gemstone pendant, ovoid in plan. The pendant comprises a dark, flat-topped gem, possibly a garnet, set within a gold frame. A gold medieval gem set finger ring of 'stirrup' type, with the hoop expanding to a thickened bezel, 2.6mm wide and 1.2 thick with a recessed oval setting for a cabochon gem of around 3mm length, which is now lost. The hoop is extremely thin at between 0.6mm and 0.5mm thick and 0.7mm wide. It varies from sub oval to D-shaped in cross-section and has been bent out of shape; the original internal diameter was approximately 17mm. There are no marks or surface decoration.

The object is a Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a slender hoop which has been distorted in plan. This distortion was probably due to plough damage, as it was found within the plough soil. The loop has a 'D' shaped section which slightly expands towards the bezel. The bezel is oval in plan and is set with a cabochon setting. Jon Radley (Keeper of Geology, Warwickshire Museum) commented the setting may be polished quartz, but this could not be confirmed unless a destructive analysis was carried out. The find consists of a single Iron Age twisted multi-strand style torc with ring terminals similar to others found in Norfolk over the last 60 years.  The torc has an internal diameter of approximately 20 cm.  It is made of predominantly gold and silver. It is made from four strands of wires twisted around each other two and a half times.
