A possible fragment of a gold earring probably of Roman date (AD 43-300). The object is composed of the hook portion of an earring, the object is circular in cross section and U shaped in plan. Both ends taper to points. One end would have would have affixed to a decorative element, now missing.

A complete gold finger ring (Guirauid Type 9a/ Henig Type IX) of Roman date (c.200-410).
Description: The ring is polygonal, however now squashed almost flat, with eight inward curving facets creating pronounced ridges between each one. The ring expands from a relatively narrow band to create an implied bezel. Here, the facets have outward curving outer edges. The surface of the ring is undecorated but is pitted and nicked. It has a matte patina.

An incomplete gold Brancaster type Roman finger ring with decorated with a square shaped bezel, dating to about AD350-AD450.
The ring is broken and mishapen. The band either side of the bezel is stretched. On one side the ring band turns down 90 degrees before terminating with a break. On the other side the band turns 90 degrees again, though this time the remaining section is bent back on itself. A Roman gold openwork bracelet, now rather crushed and distorted, with dirt still present inside much of the openwork (c. AD 300 - 400). The hoop is flat in profile. The body of the bracelet is decorated with plain edges inside which the decorative zone is divided into four sections by circles inside which are equal-armed crosses with volutes between the arms. Between each of these circles is a repeating pattern of waves just inside the outer edges, which further enclose rows of conjoined hearts that are further subdivided into three polygonal cells.

A folded strip of sheet gold with raised mouldings, probably a first century Roman wide-cuff bracelet of armilla type.
The decoration is composed of five parallel mouldings, with the outer two and the inner one plain ribs and the other two of rope style. There are visible file marks in a number of places and the terminals appear to have been cut. There is a circular piercing, made from back through to front, near one terminal.

An incomplete gold finger ring (Henig II/ Guiraud type 2A) of Roman date (c. 43-200).
Description: The ring is broken at the narrowest part of the hoop, opposite the bezel, and is misshapen. The hoop is pointed oval in cross section, thickening and widening gradually towards the shoulders which merge to create the bezel. The bezel has an oval recess for a now missing setting. The surface of the ring is textured by rippling in the gold as well as scuffing and scratching.

Incomplete, gold finger ring dated to the 1st century AD. Rectangular-sectioned, slender ovoid hoop now slightly distorted. Faceted shoulders with much of lower hoop missing. Broad, flat rectangular bezel with simply incised stylised palm-branch motif with single saltire formed from the lower fronds on either side of median line. The palm-branch symbol was a ubiquitous symbol of victory believed to offer protection against malign forces and help a deceased` wearer reach the afterlife (Jackson 2009).

A folded, crushed and crumpled fragment of very thin gold sheet or foil. It is difficult to identify definite original edges, but it appears to be a comparatively narrow incomplete strip. On the largest surviving visible, relatively un-crumpled, roughly rectangular part of the sheet there appear to be three or four lines of lettering, c. 1mm in height, and possibly in Latin.

Gold finger ring, now distorted to 27 x (max) 12mm. Flat band, less than 1mm thick comprising six slightly irregular lozenges, each 6mm wide at maximum, narrowing to 2.5mm at the constriction between each lozenge. It is impossible to tell whether the ring was originally spherical or hexagonal. On the outside at each constriction is a slight pyramid shaped rise. The internal surface is rough or unfinished. 14 droplets and fragments of gold and silver
This interesting collection of material includes 9 molten droplets, 2 fragments that have been cut from ingots and 3 fragments of twisted wire. The objects in the collection are made from both gold (of different colours), silver and in one case lead with tin. One molten droplet clearly contains a partially melted piece of gold wire fused within it. Description: Gold finger-ring with bezel set with a dark red intaglio gemstone. The gemstone is complete, and although the gold components are now broken and crushed, they are also largely complete.
The hoop is made from three strands of beaded wire arranged to form a triangular cross-section, with two strands side by side forming the inner surface and the third strand added in the centre. The third strand, standing proud on the outer surface, is now very worn.
