A complete modern gold fob-seal matrix with inset gem die (19th century AD). The artefact is very ornate with moulded foliate decoration. The die is rectangular with rounded corners. It is of a purple gem, probably amethyst, with a flat field and bevelled and faceted edges. Carved in intaglio in a 'Gothic' (Blackletter) script is the plea 'Remember me'. The lower element in which the die sits measures 18.75 by 16.25mm by 9.07mm high. Concealed in the top of the lower element is a small plait of hair under glass. Post Medieval fob seal matrix, probably of mid to late 18th century date. The fob seal is sub-rectangular (12.0 x 9.6mm) and is 5.7mm thick, weighing 1.6g. The rear of the frame is domed with a central piercing to take the fob chain. The intaglio is secured in a gold frame with claw grips. The intaglio is made from black glass, or possibly a stone. At the centre is the carving of a bust of a male figure.

An oval gold and gem seal matrix dating from AD 1730 - 1858. The design is of an copperplate style uppercase letter D with a ducal crown above it. Only the face of the matrix survives within its gold frame. The matrix is carved into an orangy red gem or glass intaglio. It is oval in plan, flat on the face and domed on the reverse. the intagliio is held in a gold frame forming a plain border round the face of the matrix. The reverse is covered by a gold dome. A post-medieval gold zoomorphic seal matrix, dating to the period AD 1750-1900. It is formed of a handle and a base, which is inset with an engraved glass setting. The handle is a snake biting its own tail, with the looped and overlapping body providing the handle and small loop for this seal matrix. A complete gold seal matrix dating to the Post Medieval to Early Modern period (c. AD 1750-1900). The object has a heptagonal handle with an integral suspension loop at the apex. The handle has evenly spaced longitudinal channels running from a collar below the suspension loop down the handle to just above the matrix setting. A rounded knop crowns the suspension loop. The seal matrix itself is made of a black stone with the initials DE in black script in the centre of the matrix. A complete gold medieval seal matrix of 13th century date and in exceptional condition. The seal matrix is oval in plan with an applied gold spine and suspension loop on the reverse. A gold post-medieval seal matrix in almost perfect condition. The matrix has a circular base upon which is engraved the blazon vairy on a chief three lions rampant guardant. The seal matrix is hexagonally faceted above the base and leads into a stem with two raised hexagonal collars. Treasure case 2016 T298. An incomplete gold circular seal matrix of post-medieval date. The matrix consists of a circular face with square shield within a circular rope-work type border. The shield is quartered into six sections, each section bearing a coat of arms.
