Gold possible coin. A small plano-convex disc, thickest on one side, featureless and worn on its convex side but retaining part of an image on the flat side: a small seated figure with right hand raised. The figure is similar to the Fallen Horseman on later Roman nummi of AD355-361 (Reece period 18). A triple stranded gold penannular ring dating to the middle to late Bronze Age; Treasure reference number 2011 T580. Each strand is sub-circular in cross-section and soldered together. Similar rings also in C-section form were threaded on to gold penannular bracelets and twisted torcs. A composite penannular ring, comprising two elements which appear to be thin c-sectioned gold strips soldered together. The ring appears to be complete but is now somewhat mis-shapen. The terminals are straight and undamaged, though now open. Treasure reference number 2011 T227. This is a well-known middle Bronze Age ornament that is found singly (for example 2004 T286 from Newchurch area, Isle of Wight), or grouped together on a hoop of gold wire (for example 2004 T81 from North East Norfolk).
