A complete gold Touch Piece of Ann (AD 1702-1714). Obverse depicts the Archangel St. Michael slaying a dragon, SOL DE GLORIA. The reverse depicts a ship under sail, ANNA.DG.M.BR/T.ETH.REG . The object has a single circular perforation at 12 O'clock Touch Pieces were touched by the monarch and used by an individual (in this instance as a pendant or medallion) to pass the heeling of an individual via the touch of a monarch without the monarch coming into physical contact with the afflicted individual. Diameter: 21.18mm, Thickness: 0.71mm, Weight: 3.0g.

Half touch piece of James II. The obverse legend is IACO.II D.G. M.B. Fr. E[T. HI. REX] (James II, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland). The ship that appears on the obverse is only faintly visible due to wear. The reverse legend is [SOLI. DEN.] GLORIA (To God alone the Glory). The top right half of St Michael and the Dragon are visible. The item has been pierced for wear as a talisman and cut deliberately.

Four coins reported found on the site of a previous find of similar coins. These coins are all gold doblas of Peter or Pedro I, King of Castile ('Pedro the Cruel'), who reigned 1350-69. All the coins were struck at the Seville mint, the main mint of Castile. They are of good weight and are in generally good condition, with slight indications of wear, so they have seen some currency. Post medieval coin; Struck gold fanam from the Cochin area of the Dutch West coast of India. This is a very tiny, dished coin with abstract designs of circles, lines and dots on both sides. The coin was identified by Sam Moorhead (British Museum), who notes that coins of this type were struck by the Rajas of Cochin and the Zamorins of Kalicut in the period c1600-1800. Treasure report from Dr Barrie J. Cook: I have examined two coins found at Newton Bromswold, Northamptonshire. Both are English gold coins of the denomination of half-sovereign (= 10 shillings or half a pound). Both were also issued in the reign of King Edward VI (1547-53), despite the fact that the name and image on one of the coins is of his father Henry VIII. When Edward acceeded, his government had to consider how to deal with the debased coinage introduced by Henry in 1544 and, for a while, carried on in the style of the late king.
