Treasure reference 2017 T1054: a pellet of molten gold. The pellet is an irregular oval sphere. One side is smooth and rounded, while the other is more irregular. This may suggest that the gold had been poured into a pellet mould, such as those known for the production of coins in the late Iron Age. The weight of the globule is 5.4g, which equates to the mass of a typical late Iron Age gold stater. Treasure reference number 2017 T1015: a gold band of unknown date. The band is rectangular in section and appears once to have been oval in plan, perhaps forming a ferrule or fitting from an object such as a pendant or a knife. The hoop is no longer a neat oval, but has been bent inwards on either side in the middle. The length of the ferrule is 32mm and the maximum width is 13mm. Treasure reference 2017 T708: a medieval gold annular brooch. The frame is circular in plan and in section, and has a restriction for the pin. The pin is intact, and has a small decorative collar next to the terminal loop. The pin tapers to the terminal. The brooch is dated to the Medieval period, 13th to 14th centuries. Similar brooches have been taken through the Treasure Act (1996), for example 2010 T330 from the Isle of Wight, 2008 T124 from North Yorkshire, and 2015 T821 from Princethorpe, Warwickshire.

Treasure case 2017 T423 Description: A gold stirrup-shaped finger ring. The finger ring exhibits a slender D-shaped loop which rises from the shoulders into a rectangular bezel measuring 6mm x3mm. The bezel is recessed and contains a translucent green setting. The setting has been polished into a domed top. There appear to be small air bubbles within the matrix of the setting, which suggests that it might be glass. There are no markings on the band. The underside is smooth and flat, while the upper side is slightly domed, being made of a series of flat, rectangular panels or hammer marks. This item was found in cultivated land within a concentration of objects dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period.
