Treasure reference number 2014 T244: a lunate, gold Roman ear ring. The body is crescent-shaped and appears to have a ridge running across the middle of the body, giving it a forward-facing profile in section. A shallow ridge runs around the perimeter. A thin strip of gold extends from the top to form an S-shaped hook. The body and hook are now crumpled.

Treasure reference number 2014 T245: a gold Roman ear ring. The body is in the form of a rectangular cube and contains a green-coloured stone setting. The face of the setting is convex. Surrounding the setting is a thin, crimped border. The reverse is damaged, and no evidence for a hook survives.

CURATOR'S REPORT Circumstances of discovery A plain gold band was found in the Osbournby area, Lincolnshire in December 2006. Catalogue 1. Plain gold penannular band. The hoop is formed by a single band of gold which is square in cross-section at one terminal and octagonal at the other. The hoop is now slightly distorted and there are some hammer marks along one surface at the square-sectioned end.
