The ring is made from a D-shaped sectioned gold band. The outer face is undecorated. The inner face has an incised italic inscription, most of which is in lower case, reading 'Knitt in one by christ alone'.

While no exact example to reference has been found, this is a hat-hook or cap-badge pin (also referred to as a dress hook) of Post-Medieval date evidenced by the presence of the double recurved (S shaped) pin shaft.

A gold post-medieval finger-ring with bezel in the form of a bourchier knot, the band worked as if ropes wreathed with ribbons. Traces of white enamel survive on what appears to be one of the ribbons, and it is possible – although no other traces survive – that the ring was once extensively enamelled in two or more tones. Complete, gold, post-medieval posy finger ring with chased inscription on inner band dating to the 16th century.
The annular band is D shaped in section. The outer face is smooth and undecorated. The interior face is inscribed with a motto in English and reads + I - MEANE - RYGHT -. The script is stylistically similar to inscriptions known from the 16th century. In general Roman capitals began to be used for inscriptions on posy rings from the mid-16th century, italics becoming more popular by the mid-17th century (Oman 1974, p. 40 - 41). One gold post-medieval finger ring, subcircular with damage to the hoop as well as a number of deep cuts, likely damage, concentrated in the four corners of the rectangular bezel.
There a traces of incised marks on the bezel, possibly representing the head and body of a figure. These incisions tend to the left portion of the bezel. A gold fanam from India. This is probably of the 'English Kali' (otherwise known as the 'old Madras fanam') series and could date from AD 1630 up to the 20th century when copies have been made. 'The Kali fanam designs is based on the Vira Rajam fanam but now more resemble a goddess than the lion that was originally depicted. See H. Herrli, Gold Fanams, p. 75, nos. 3.06.01-7. This piece, at 0.34g, falls into the weight range for thses coins (0.33-0.36g).

Description
2018 T758: a post-medieval gold posy ring. The hoop is circular, wide, and comprises a central convex band flanked above and below by an everted rim. The interior of the ring bears the inscription *THINKE*OF*ME*. The letters are all captial and serrifed. The hoop is slightly damaged, but otherwise is in excellent condition.
Discussion
The style of lettering is typical of the seventeenth-century. A similar inscription THINKE ON ME is seen on a ring now in the British Museum (AF.1383). A parallel for the hoop can be found on a ring recorded on the PAS database (NMGW…
