An openwork gold object, now crushed, which originally formed a hemispherical dome shape. The gold framework is composed of a series of interconnected semi-circle and roundel designs, some of which feature minute hatching. Four strands of thin gold wire pass through tiny holes in the larger gold decoration; in some cases these wires form a loop, their ends twisted together on the underside of the decoration.
