Two gold interlinked bands, possibly earrings, of uncertain date.
Curator's report: Two thin gold interlinked bands, rectangular in cross-section, tapering towards hook and eye terminals. Possibly earrings.
Discussion: Whilst it is possibly older than 300 years and could therefore qualify as Treasure under the Treasure Act (1996), it is not diagnostic enough to assign to a particular type and period
Dimensions: Diameters 7.5 and 9.0mm; Weight: 0.89g.
Metal content: The object is made up of 84 - 87 % gold, 10-13 % silver, and 1% copper.
