TREASURE CASE 2017 T140 - DISCLAIMED Description: An incomplete silver gilt crucifix fragment dating to the medieval period. The remaining section consists of the lower half of the cross, which has a flared terminal with convex base. Upon this section can be seen the legs of the crucified Christ, extending from beneath the lion-cloth to the toes, with the knees bent and feet together in the standard depiction.
