Report: A Roman gold finger-ring with gem-set box bezel. The broad strap-like hoop, now partly crushed, is constructed from a central plain strip flanked by a pair of beaded or segmented wires. The ends of the central strip are fastened to the wall of the box bezel while those of the flanking beaded wires are expanded into openwork heart-shaped shoulders, their coiled ends also fastened to the bezel wall. A slightly distorted gold post medieval finger ring. The ring consists of a plain inner band over which is a cut-out and patterned layer raised into a hollow D shape. Eight petalled flowers buds and leaves make up the design which has incised detail. The ring appears to have been made as a strip which has been soldered into ha hoop as there are traces of the join. There is a makers mark of J or T C in monogram in a shield. A hoard of 50 1oz South African Krugerrand gold coins struck by the Rand Refinery in Germistone, South Africa and comprised of 48 coins minted in 1974 (bags 1-48) and 2 coins minted in 1975 (bags 49-50).  The hoard was discovered during the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown and remained with finder until 07/10/2020 due to social distancing restrictions.  The coins were divided between two white plastic coin tubes, one wrapped in a small white towel with pink edging and secured with an elastic band, the other wrapped in an NS&I envelop and pages from a magazin…

A gold miniature annular brooch, with a slightly convex section, its flat side having an inscription. The frame of the brooch has a notch to stop the pin slipping. The pin has a decorative, rope pattern collar, just before it meets the frame. It is believed that the inscription is a love token and may translate '[to a] loyal friend'.

A gold medieval to post medieval gold finger ring, dating from AD 1400-1600. The hoop of the ring is broken, and is now a strip of gold. This is a wide U shape in cross section, with the edges of the hoop raised in towards the inscription in a triangular shape. There are three bends in the strip. The French inscription reads 'cans de partir iames' which translates as 'without ever leaving'. The meaning of the inscription is most likely 'never to part' giving the message that the lovers will never be seperated. In between each of the words is a foliate design, formed of curved branches…

An incomplete gold hollow cross pendant, perhaps used as a miniature reliquary, of late medieval date (15th century AD). The pendant is in the 'budded' cross or 'cross bottony' style, with each arm terminating in three semi-circular knops.
