A gold quarter stater of Tincomarus (25 BC - AD 10) of the Atrebates. The coin is stamped on a sub-circular flan of gold and is slightly convexed. There are a few small scratches on the obverse of the coin otherwise it is in very fine condition. Hobbs (1996) No. 854; VA 390. Registered as CCI 10.1095.

The stater has TINC stamped on the obverse with a warrior on horseback on the reverse and the letter C beneath the raised front legs of the horse. There is some nibbling around the edges of the coin.
