An incomplete, gold and silver alloy, Medieval, possible halfpenny of Richard II (AD 1377 - AD 1399), or Richard III (AD 1483 - AD 1485). This coin could also be a contemporary copy or continental sterling copy. Long cross reverse type, with three pellets in each quarter. The obverse depicts a bifoliate crowned bust facing. The coin has been damaged, and is bent towards the obverse.
