Cast, gold fragment. The fragment is oblong, solid and was once part of a larger object. It is roughly D-shaped in cross section and tapering in height towards one end. At the higher end, the fragment appears to have been chopped. The shorter end shows some damage and it seems that part of the underside has been cut away here. It meets another band, that frames the lower edge of the object, at the narrower end. T…

Gold finger ring possibly of medieval or post medieval date. Now bent measuring 22mm by 18mm externally and 18.5mm by 14.9mm internally. As this finger ring is so plain with no diagnostic features it is very difficult to date. Consequently, due to the undiagnostic nature of the find, it can not be securely dated to pre-1706 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure act 1996.

A gold hammered coin dating from the Medieval period: a quarter noble of Edward III (1327-1377) struck at London, 1363-1369. Treaty Period, Treaty Series, Cross potent initial mark, North 1243. The coin has a diameter 20.84mm, and weighs 1.88g. Images show a distinct crease across the centre of the coin, suggesting that it has been neatly and deliberately folded in two, perhaps as a 'pilgrim token': see the discussion in the record SWYOR-EE887F https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/974550 The coin has subsequently been straightened.

Small gold finger-ring. The hoop of the ring is formed from five lozenge-shaped panels that give the ring a hexagonal shape. Each panel is undecorated on both inner and outer faces. The ring has an external diameter of 17.3mm and weighs 5.52g. It is 14th or 15th century in date.
