A gold quarter stater of the British Iron Age, South Western uninscribed (Durotrigian) type, dating to c. 80-50 BC. Three figures in a galley on the obverse and a zig-zag on the reverse. Reference: ABC 2205 Date: Late Iron Age Diameter: 11.45 mm Weight: 1.06 g Die axis: 6 Although the coin is rather light for a gold quarter stater, the weights of the BM coin ranging from 1.33 to 1.53g. It is closer to the weights for silver pieces which range from 0.76 to 1.46g. However, the colour of the coin does appear to be pale gold.

A Post-Medieval gold stamp in the form of a stud. The stud is decorated on the front with an engraved six petal rose, at the centre of which a capital ‘H’ in Roman script. This H has one thin leg and one thick leg, which would be reversed when impressed. One of the Surrounding the petals are six further engraved petals lines and surrounding this is a continuous border. A Post-Medieval gold signet ring of late 16th – early 17th century date. The bezel is decorated with the head of a stag above a heater shield. Within the shield is a plain circle, possibly an orb or globe, with flames emanating from the top. To the sides of the shield is curvilinear decoration terminating in small trapezoids. A Post Medieval gold posy ring inscribed internally 'Noe turtle dove shall shew more love' with a maker's mark, dating from AD 1600 - 1800. The hoop is D shaped in cross-section and undecorated. The inscription is in mostly lowercase italic cursive lettering with long Ss used on 'shall' and 'shew'. Due to the condition and the small size of the fragment the overall design is unclear.
