Description One coin is a Western uninscribed gold quarter stater of a type produced in the Gloucestershire-Worcestershire-Oxfordshire area between about 40 and 10 BC. The other is an Eastern gold quarter stater of Cunobelin struck in about AD 10-40. Coins of the latter type were produced in Essex, and Hertfordshire, but are regularly found hoarded outside of this area. The coins can be summarised as follows: 1. Post-medieval bell shaped pendant, flattened. The body of the pendant is made of sheet gold. The ends of the sheet have been soldered together to make a cylindrical/ cone shape that tapers. A gold Medieval finger-ring consisting of a simple undecorated hoop, an oval bezel and small shoulders. The hoop has a sub-oval section which is slightly flattened on the interior edge and is slightly oval in plan. The bezel, which is integral to the hoop, is oval in plan and forms a high-relief cell within which is set in a domed oval blue setting, which is likely to be a sapphire.
