A complete post-Medieval gold posy finger-ring (c. 1500-c. 1700). Treasure case no. 2016 T776. This finger-ring is 'D'-shaped in cross-section with a plain outer face. The inner face has inscribed capital letters: LOVE GOD There is a small star between the letters. The finger-ring is in good condition and is worn on the outer face. There is no maker's mark. Length: 15.5mm; width: 13.5mm; width of hoop: 2.6mm; thickness of hoop: 0.7mm. Weight: 1.14g. Compare with: WILT-F78337.

A Post Medieval gold thimble of 18th century date. The base of the thimble is circular in plan and measures 13.5mm in diameter and has a lip which rolls outwards. The walls of the thimble taper slightly towards the top, where the diameter measures 12mm. The outer surface is covered in small indentations. The very top of the thimble is domed and has a series of small impressions arranged in concentric circles.

A gold finger-ring with turquoise enamel bezel. The exterior of the band is decorated with seven smaller oval turquoise enamel settings, spaced at regular intervals. Between each of these settings the band narrows and expands to form a collared effect. On the reverse of the setting are series of lines radiating from the centre to create a scalloped appearance.
