Found whilst metal detecting on cultivated land at a depth of 3 inches. Gold ingot of probable Bronze Age date. The find is a slightly bent cylindrical length of gold. One end is complete and flat, the other is slightly twisted and was probably broken by hammering a dent and breaking it across the thinnest place.
