Found whilst metal detecting on cultivated land at a depth of 3 inches. Gold ingot of probable Bronze Age date. The find is a slightly bent cylindrical length of gold. One end is complete and flat, the other is slightly twisted and was probably broken by hammering a dent and breaking it across the thinnest place. A fragment of a possible Early Medieval (Viking) gold ‘finger shaped’ ingot, dating to c. AD 870-950. It is a short, heavily marked, slightly bent, solid cylindrical length of gold, which appears to have been hammered. Gold signet ring. The hoop expands at the shoulders to the oval bezel, which is set vertically. The bezel is engraved with a coat of arms. The shield is divided down the centre with a vertical line. To the left side is a tower with three turrets sitting on rocks. There are two diamond shapes on either side of the tower. The right half of the shield is filled with a lion rampant (on one hind leg, with its other legs raised). The bezel is edged by a beaded border.

A Post Medieval gold posy-ring. The posy-ring is a D-shaped band. The band is, from appearance and weight, made substantially from gold. The exterior is undecorated, but the interior surface has an English inscription reading NO FREND TO FAITH. The single line inscription in upper case suggests a late 16th to first half 17th century date. The diameter of the ring is 17.95mm on the exterior, and 16.2mm on the interior.
