An incomplete Late Medieval to Early Post-Medieval copper alloy candle holder, c.AD 1450-1550. The surviving part consists of one socket-like candle holder and part of the arm that it slotted into. The base, stem, spike or pricket, most of the candlestick's arm are missing. The socket has a waisted collar at the base. The socket is a cylinder with straight side, possibly decorated with stamped floral designs, although wear and corrosion make these difficult to discern. Medieval finger ring, of stirrup shape. The hoop is slightly distorted and abraded along its edges. The ring is set with a roughly rectangular stone, which is held in place by two claws. The ring is gold, and dates from the 13th century. The stone is blue, and is a sapphire. Surface analysis indicated gold and silver contents of approximately 73–76% and 16–18% respectively, and confirmed the gemstone Dimensions: length 25 mm, width 20 mm It has been published in the Treasure Annual Report 2005/6 (p. 115, no. 403)

A medieval finger ring of iconographic type.  The bezel is hexagonal and contains a depiction of God the Father holding the figure of Christ on the Cross.  This was the conventional way to portray the Trinity in the late medieval period, though the dove representing the Holy Spirit seems to be absent. A hammered gold sheet of uncertain date. The sheet has a maximum length of 51.4mm, width of 39.3mm, 0.7mm thick and weighs 14.76g. The sheet is lacking any diagnostic features so the use and date cannot be determined. Small percussion marks on the surface indicate the sheet was intentionally flattened before being deposited, discarded, or lost. Due to the uncertainty of the date, the object is not considered Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996.
